The newly renovated Crown Affair is on the prettiest street in the heart of historic Dunmore Town. Crown Street is one of the most photographed and quiet lanes on Harbour Island: it is beautiful, charming and home to this special property. The name of the house and its design are inspired by the street name and one of the owner’s favorite films, The Thomas Crown Affair. You’ll find fun references to this classic movie throughout the home, in addition to a collection of local contemporary art and many other unique touches. 

The architect-owner took a modern approach to the traditional Bahamian aesthetic: creating a world apart. Escape to Crown Affair and experience the ease of island living in a home that places you in the center of a lovely, historic village with all the quiet and modern convenience that you expect.

Take time to explore the island with its boutique shops, historical architecture and of course its world-famous beach, all within a stroll of the home. Return for sunset cocktails under the softly-lit rooftop pavilion before dinner. Prepare meals in the well-appointed kitchen or use the charcoal grill to try the fresh local seafood and meats available on the island. The house offers choices to sit at a large family dining table inside or to enjoy a candle-lit evening outdoors. Dinner out is easy: Crown Affair is just steps away from several world-class restaurants. Multiple breakfast options, coffee and fresh conch stands are a walk away. At the house there are many places to relax: head to the upper level sundeck, outdoor dining and covered lounge for ocean breezes, relax in your own spacious garden, while away time on the shaded porches, or just enjoy the air-conditioned cool of the chic and comfortable interiors.
