OVERVIEW

The Playhouse is a 2021 ground up renovation by a highly regarded architect, landscape architect and interior designer. It was thoughtfully created to be an unmatched Bahamian home where families and friends gather to play and enjoy the best of Harbour Island. 

The outdoor sport court includes a basketball hoop for fun and games. The pool is nestled in the garden and surrounded by all forms of flora and fauna, including butterflies and hummingbirds. The garden covers the entire property and is truly spectacular. Our dedicated housekeeper, gardener and property manager make this house a home. They enjoy hosting and will make certain you are well cared for during your stay.

4-bedroom (7 beds), 4-bath house

With 4 beautiful bedrooms it can sleep up to 10 people: 2 king beds, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds which can be made into a king, and another with a king bed and a twin trundle. The freestanding exercise room can sleep 2 additional people to bring the total to 12 guests when additional capacity is needed.

Unique differentiators: Buttonwood and the Playhouse are owned by the same family and access to the premier dock at Buttonwood is based on availability. Open console boats up to 40’ can be docked at no additional charge, and enclosed boats up to 100’ with a maximum 6’ draft requiring water and electricity can be docked for $5.00 per foot per day.

LOCAL ACTIVITIES 

The Playhouse is just a short 5-minute walk or golf cart ride to the nearest access to the world- famous Pink Sands beach. Playhouse guests can use our two private palapas and chaise lounge chairs on the glorious beach which stretches for 3 miles and is more than 100 feet wide. Whether you enjoy beach walks, strolling to renowned restaurants, snorkeling from the shore, horseback riding, body surfing, swimming, sandcastle building or searching for the perfect tropical drink, you can do it all from the private retreat on the beach.

RATES

*Minimum stay is 3 nights, and 7-night stays are preferred during holidays and in high season. Saturday to Saturday bookings will be favoured by the owner, whenever possible. Extended stays are possible.
